ANBAR Consulting Services LLC has been providing occupational health and community wellness programs nationwide for over five years. It is a certified women-owned business.

 

Health Care Management

ANBAR Health Care Management was formerly part of Health Direct, Inc., a division of Humana, Inc.

Drawing on our strong managed care program experience, ANBAR provides off-site turnkey products, including utilization review, case management, occupational health, software licensing and wellness programs. ANBAR licenses its own proprietary software for Case Management, Occupational Health, and Utilization Review.

ANBAR currently manages several occupational health centers, including W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (Maryland), and ITW Signode (Chicago). We provide on-site health and wellness seminars to clients, including the State of Illinois, the Diocese of Joliet (Illinois) and Archdiocese of Chicago.

ANBAR also provides complete office management consulting, including office organization, management training and support for occupational health and other business entities.

Barbara M. Bugner, President/CEO

Ms. Bugner has more than 25 years' experience in the health care industry. The last 20 years have been focused in managed care. She has coordinated and managed utilization review services, case management, occupational health, disability, workers’ compensation, PPO network development and maintenance, utilization review systems and software, quality management coordination and medical consulting services. She also chaired quality management efforts to prepare for NCQA accreditation.

As Executive Director for Humana Health Direct, Ms. Bugner was in charge of Operations/Contract Services and Specialty Services, with complete oversight and Profit and Loss accountability for the division.

Ms. Bugner provides the clinical and management lead for the medical management consulting and occupational health departments. She is also responsible for the general operations of the organization.

Ms. Bugner holds a BSN from Alverno College and a MHA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
